The small print
Editorial policy
Where the facts on cookie-jar.store come from, what we will not claim about a jar, and how to report a mistake.
Every page on cookie-jar.store is written by the people who run the shop, which has picked cookie jars since 2019. Here is how a fact gets onto a page.
Facts about the jars
Capacities, heights, materials, lids and care instructions are taken from the product data and the label of each jar, one jar at a time. A figure printed for one jar is never carried over to another: if a jar does not state its capacity, its page prints none.
Photographs show the jars as they are sold. Pictures with slogans, arrows or measurements printed over them stay off the site.
What we do not claim
We do not speak for any maker. We do not promise that a lid keeps cookies crisp for a set number of days, that a glaze is lead-free unless the maker says so on the jar, or that a jar survives a dishwasher its label does not allow. Where a page talks about glazes or food storage, it names the source, and the source is linked from our articles.
Corrections
If a figure, a price or a sentence here is wrong, write to crumbs@cookie-jar.store. We fix the page and the product data behind it.
