Marcel Wanders designed the Dressed line for Alessi, and this cookie jar shows the idea well: glass paired with mirror-polished 18/10 stainless steel, covered in fine relief decoration. A bell detail finishes the piece, so the jar looks more like a table ornament than a canister.

It measures about six by seven and a half inches, a compact size for a counter where you want one good object rather than a row of containers. You might keep biscotti or chocolates in it next to the espresso machine. Alessi asks you to wash it by hand, which helps the polished steel keep its shine.
