    Care and use

    • OUTSHINE gives no washing method, so wipe the steel and rinse the gasket by hand.
    • Let the steel dry completely before the gasket goes back in.

    A metal farmhouse jar with heart cutters in the box

    Although it sits among the ceramic jars in the shop, this OUTSHINE jar is powder-coated steel, finished in bright white with a sturdy metal handle on top. It measures 10.2 inches from the base to the top of that handle and 7 inches across, roomy enough for a batch of cookies or a bag of mixed nuts.

    The lid presses down onto a rubber gasket, and OUTSHINE sells the fit as airtight. You can pull the gasket out when you want the lid to lift off more easily. A pair of heart-shaped metal cutters comes with it. There is also a two-pack with blue and mint lids and a stainless steel rim, handy if you want one jar for cookies and one for snacks.
