This Ritayedet jar is a clear glass canister in the old Mason shape, with straight walls and a mouth wide enough for your whole hand. The one-gallon size takes a full 5 lb bag of flour or sugar, so you can tip the bag in and throw the paper away. A 1.5 gallon version and two-packs are offered as well.
The lid carries a round handle and a silicone seal that the maker calls airtight. You can lift that seal out while you keep a sourdough starter, so the jar breathes as it rises, then put it back for crackers or cookies. Printed oz and ml scales on the side let you watch the level drop without opening it.
